The last bonfire of Summer

We had one final bonfire to end the summer right. Um the yummy smores are always the perfect bonfire treat. Shay is our expert roaster while delia is still getting it down. It was a chocolatey good night!

Shay looses her first tooth

Yay Shay has been waiting for so long to join the missing tooth club. After lots of wiggling, her bottom tooth has finally come out. Shay got it out herself and was so excited to put it under her pillow for the toothfairy. Now she's are super cute, missing tooth, little kindergardner. We love our toothless Shay!!

Dinner at the Beach

After I cooked dinner at home Shay thought it would be a fun to take our dinner down to the Beach to eat. After we ate we all jumped in and had a fun swim in the water together. It was just such a nice evening. We are so lucky to live so close to the beach.

Delia cuts her own Hair

Yes, now both my kids have done it at 2 years old...Cut their own hair. I caught delia on the couch with scissors next to her and a pile of hair on her lap. I was trying to grow out her bangs...but I guess they were in her way and she couldn't watch her show...so she made it so she could see better. Oh well, it could have been worse.

A Night at the Zoo

We took the Kids and Danielle to the night time Zoo and had fun monkeying around. It is great being able to go at night when the animals are all awake and the lanterns are all lit. Just a nice Summer Night!

Kirsten's Baby Shower

Lisa and I hosted a Baby Shower at my house to Welcome Baby Kirsten into the Family. It was a nice and very Hot day, but with good conversation and yummy salads, this little lady got a very warm Welcome.

Shay's First Day of Kindergarden

I can't believe it...but my baby has grown up. Today Shay started Kindergarden at Cardiff Elementary. She was SO excited to go into Mrs. B's class already knowing so many kids. 2 other kids on our street, 2 kids from church and her friend from her soccer team are all in her class. Here's to a WONDERFUL year Shay. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!

So finally with the encouragement of Family and Friends I have started my own little sign making buisness...Painted Plank....where I sell hand crafted custom signs. I have been selling lots of "family established" signs with the occasional order for something different.
