Easter- Greek Style

We had fun going over to my Theo John's house for Greek Easter. This year they cooked the Lamb in the oven and cooked a Goat on the Spit in the backyard. Yummy food, a Easter egg hunt with all the kiddos and time spend with my big fat greek family= priceless.

Easter- Mathis Style

We went to Nona and Grandpa's for Easter. The kids had fun hunting around for eggs with their cousins.

Julian

We took the kids and our neighbor Zaya up to Julian for the day. We did some sledding, built a snowman and ended up at the candy store then "Mom's" pie shop for some apple pie and hot chocolate. It was a

fun day :)

My little lilly pad

It was ocean week and shay's class was chosen to represnt the pond / lagoon. So she was a lilly pad. Too cute!

Tina turns the big 5-0!

Thea teen celebrated her birthday in style having 45 friends and family at Javier's in O.C. for dinner then off to the St. Regis for the after party. We had lots of fun celebrating her big birthday with her!

Making Cakes

The girls got to decorate cakes at School for the annual Ice Cream Social cake walk. They had so much fun putting mounds of frosting and sprinkles on them...but if you win on I wouldn't recommend eating it :)

Day Trip

We decided to hop in the car and take a quick day trip up to the Ranch. The kids love hiking around finding treasures and of course throwing sticks in the pond for the dogs to go after. I love that it only takes a hour and 15 mins to get their to spend some fun family time in the outdoors.

Getting ready for Easter

From making cookies, cupcakes to decorating and dying Easter eggs my girls love this time of the year and all the festivites that come with celebrating 2 Easters (american and greek!)

American Heart Assocaiton

I made 2 baby blankets for donation to the annual Heart Ball for the American Heart Association. Such a great cause to help so many people in need. Too bad I can't make the Gala at the Hotel Del in June but with Baby Lexi due on the same day I figured at least I can help by donation.

Swimming with "Mocha"

Nona and grandpa's new little pup is learning to swim in the pool thanks to the girls and a life vest!

Yee haw Cowgirl!

Delia and Shay were having so much fun in the backyard riding on their little horse. I think Shay had the most fun taking pictures and laughing at our littlest crazy cowgirl!

Shay's keeps loosing her teeth!

Shay looses another tooth! This time her other front tooth. Woo hoo another $2 bill to add to her collection.
