Rodeo

We took the kids to the Rodeo in San Juan for some good ol' cowboy fun. Bucking broncos, midgits, bulls and family made for a fun day. Yee-Haw!!

Vegas Baby

We packed up the kids and yiayia in the car and took off for a little Vegas Vacation. The girls loved Vegas!!! Delia now says "what happens in vegas, stays in vegas" (thanks yiayia). The girls loved the hotel ( the monte carlo) where we swam and took rides down the lazy river and played in the wave pool. My mom helped with the kids so Brock and I could have a night out for our Anniversary. We had so much fun and shared so many laughs. Delia saw the excalibur and thought it was a castle. She felt like a little queen since she got to sleep in a "queen" bed. We walked the strip till almot 10:30pm without complaints from the girls. They were star struck seeing all the people dressed up like characters like buzz light year. The bellagio water show was another favorite. We found so many fun things to do with the kids even though we were in "sin city"

Lexi's first time swimming was at Nona's and Papa's and she liked it for a minute but it's something that we will have to get used to :)

Girls 1st Pedicure

At ages 6 and 3 Shay and Delia got their first pedicures and loved it! This was a special treat so no this isn't a habit they will be getting used to. Sorry girls not till your older.

Solana Beach Fire Station

Mormon Batallion

The girls and I went with our friends the Strebes down to the Mormon Batallion in Old Town. It is so cool. It is a free exhibit that is fun and interactive and the kids loved it plus at the end they got to pan for gold. I encourage everyone to check it out...and no you don't have to be mormon to go :)

Pelly's Mini Golf

For family night we took the kids down to Pelly's in Del Mar for some minature golf. The girls had so much fun and I'm happy to say no injuries to report :)

Cheetah and Cheetah

Our birds Cheetah and Cheetah that we've had for about 5 years have just become pets that the girls can hold. We finally cut their wings so they can't fly away. I don't think the birds really like it but the girls love it! It's so cute how they do everything around the house with a bird on their shoulder.
