Lucy.. The BEST dog I ever had!

My little Lucy bell you have been the best dog I have ever had. This was so hard to let you go. We didn't want you to suffer any more. We will never forget you. You were like our first kid. We bought as a puppy when we were dating and you have been with us as our family has grown. 3 kids later and we finally have to let you go. We will get another dog after you...but to me no dog will ever take your place. I love and miss you lula bell.

Delia starts Joy School

Delia has been so excited to start Joy School. The first week was at our house. What is joy school you ask.... it is a at home pre-school that a group of 7 of us mom participate in. We have purchased the joy school manual with all the lesson plans scheduled out and we rotate homes we teach at. For instance I will have tuesday thursday on week then the group will rotate to the next house on the list for the following tuesday thursday. I will teach again 6 weeks later. The kids love it. They have so much fun and feel comfortable in the at home setting. Joy School has been around for many many years. The site to check it out at is valuesparenting.

Shay's First day of First Grade

I can't believe SHAY'S IN FIRST GRADE!!! Shay is so excited to be in Mrs. Eassons first grade class at Cardiff Elementry. I think that this is going to be a GREAT year.

Rodeo

We took the kids to the Rodeo in San Juan for some good ol' cowboy fun. Bucking broncos, midgits, bulls and family made for a fun day. Yee-Haw!!

Vegas Baby

We packed up the kids and yiayia in the car and took off for a little Vegas Vacation. The girls loved Vegas!!! Delia now says "what happens in vegas, stays in vegas" (thanks yiayia). The girls loved the hotel ( the monte carlo) where we swam and took rides down the lazy river and played in the wave pool. My mom helped with the kids so Brock and I could have a night out for our Anniversary. We had so much fun and shared so many laughs. Delia saw the excalibur and thought it was a castle. She felt like a little queen since she got to sleep in a "queen" bed. We walked the strip till almot 10:30pm without complaints from the girls. They were star struck seeing all the people dressed up like characters like buzz light year. The bellagio water show was another favorite. We found so many fun things to do with the kids even though we were in "sin city"

Girls 1st Pedicure

At ages 6 and 3 Shay and Delia got their first pedicures and loved it! This was a special treat so no this isn't a habit they will be getting used to. Sorry girls not till your older.

Solana Beach Fire Station
