Daisy's to Brownies

These cute girls are movin' on up. Good bye Daisy's and hello Brownies! This was their cute "Bridging Ceremony". They held their ceremony at school on the playground where at one end of the jungle gym they remove their Daisy uniform, go over the bridge, slide down the slide and get their new Brownie uniform. Can't wait for some fun activities and yes this year they will be selling cookies so watch out!

Hangin' with some goofballs

Just another day hangin' around the house with my goofballs!

My little girls getting BIG

Wow time is flying by! I LOVE this little girl of mine!! Her sweet and FUNNY personality warms my heart! Lexi I can't remember life without you! xoxo

Fall decorating with Relief Society

I was asked to teach at our Relief Society fall dinner on how to decorate your table this fall in festive but in expensive ways. Heres some bad pics of what I came up with :)

Gone Fishin'

One of the kids favorite things to do is go fishing. We take them to the lake at Fairbanks as well it isn't hard or boring fishing to say the least. The top pick is me catching a fish with lexi on my hip. I cast and reeled all with a baby on my hip, {makes the gretchen wilson red neck woman song pop in my head..haha.} Delia caught a couple fish and Shay set her pole down and the hook fell in the shoreline and she picked the pole up and this little fish was on the end. Yes, Fairbanks is my kind of fishing :)

Red, White and Blue assembly

Red, White and Blue was the theme for the assembly at Shay's school. Lexi is getting so big. She is now trying to join in too.

Getting crafty

Ok so I'm kinda obsessed with the website Pinterest. Ok kinda is a understatement...but I actually do lots of the crafts and such on there. Here is just one of lots of pins that are filling my house. I thought it turned out kinda cute.

Sharlie's Angels

We met up with some friends today to try and help sell a bit of lemonade. I am so proud of my friends Jana, Kelly and Jessica for their fundraiser lemonade stand. They hoped to raise $500 bucks but instead raised over $1,100. WOWZA fantastic job ladies. All for a great cause to raise money for Sharlie and the double lung and heart transplant she needs. Keep on selling those goodies and lemonade! Every bit helps and these ladies helped a lot. GREAT WORK!

Zippity Zappity Penguins

Soccer season is here again (4th year) and Shay is so excited most of her team is together again. These girls are quite the team and we can't wait to see what this season brings. GO SHAY were rooting for you!

Cardiff Cardinals

Delia is finally official. After years of being a cheerleader on the sidelines of Shay's games, her time has finally come and Delia is on the field herself! Oh and do I really need to tell you how much she LOVES it. Although talking on the field is already a little issue but hey she's having fun so whatever.

Riding Ponies

This weekend the girls were invited to their friend Sofia's 5th birthday at the Del Mar Horse Park. It was adorable! 10 kids, ponies, food and crafts...what more could a 5 year old ask for.

It's time to catch up!

Wow it's been too long! This year life has been blowing by and our poor blog has felt the effects. So here's to my project for this week ( among the other 20 or so projects I have going) It's time to catch up and fill in where I left off :)

Spin-a-Thon

I participated in the YMCA's annual spin-a-thon to raise money to send kids to camp. This was my 3rd year participating so I decided to spin for 3 hours. My team the "spin-derellas" were oh so festive in crowns and tutus. This event raised so much money with over 350 people riding. After the event I headed over to meet up with my family who was down staying at the Aviara for some laughs and a oh so refreshing diet coke :)

Beach Day in January

How lucky were are to be enjoying this beautiful weather in January! First the kids made a "beach" in the backyard, then I had a bunch of old bread that we took down to the beach to feed the seagulls. I know winter will return...but for now were enjoying this beatiful January weather!
