What a night. Brock and I were on our way up to LA to celebrate Joe's graduation and Tetsu's b-day when Brock decided driving all the way to LA didn't sound like much fun. So instead he decided to drive south and not tell me where we were going. We ended up at Fillipe's in Little Italy but the line to get in was insane and there was no parking. We quickly realized it was Prom and decided to go to Cafe Chloe downtown. So we headed over there and again no parking anywhere. We drove around and around laughing at our luck to go out downtown not only on prom but there was a padres game and jazz fest all happening too. So we decided to check out Balboa Park. We drove across the bridge towards the prado and then decided lets go to Hillcrest for dinner. We drove around but couldn't decide where to eat. Then we ended up in Old Town. Finally we decided on a resturant and had dinner. We figured our tour of San Diego couldn't end there so we went down to La Jolla walked around and got some tea. I also managed to ride a bull on Girard. The night ended with a nice drive up the coast. A random night lead to quite an adventure and lots of laughs. I love our date nights.
